About Rachel

Rachel is the fourth generation in her family jewelry company where she has spent the last 10 years designing, merchandising and managing multiple jewelry lines. She fell in love with jewelry and design as a little girl while rummaging for fallen gemstones and diamonds around her family's office. After receiving a BA in fine arts, she studied jewelry design in NYC while working as a young designer. Over the last 10 years working in the business, she has learned all aspects of the industry from design to sales and production. Her eye for detail is what makes her designs notable and successful. Rachel draws inspiration from the art, fashion and design in her daily life living in the West Village of New York City as well as her travels around the world.

 About the brand

Rachel Reid was created in 2018 by Rachel after noticing a void in the market for stylish gold and diamond jewelry at a fair price.

She wanted to give women who don’t have thousands of dollars to spend a place to find 14 Karat gold and diamond jewelry that is chic, sophisticated, and most importantly timeless. Her goal is to offer pieces that women can collect and have for many years. Rachel has designed all the pieces in the collection so they can be layered together or worn alone. It is her hope that by mixing and matching, women can become designers themselves and show their personalities through how they style their looks.
